A New York Summer Wedding

We know for a fact that planning a wedding long-distance is no easy task...however, Stephanie Leh (now Weatherly) made the process entirely enjoyable, with her upbeat outlook on life and bubbly personality. Her and her fiancĂ© were from New York, but she had returned to her home-land of Minnesota for the summer wedding she had always dreamed of.  She knew she wanted peach and blue,  to go with her adorable aqua bridesmaid dresses, but she wasn't quite sure how to make the look work- and this is where we gladly stepped in to help.  It was a blast coming up with ideas together of how to make the vision she had in her head a reality.  The result was a fun, unique color palette that really echoed her personality!  Thanks to Stephanie and her mom Annie for making us feel appreciated and valued- you truly lifted our spirits and were such a blessing to us.

Love,

A Wedding at James J Hill Library

Erica and Dan's reception at James J. Hill Reference Library was a great example of allowing the architecture and ambience of your space dictate your event design. The clever incorporation of vintage into all of tabletop designs made you feel like the awe-inspiring book stacks of the library came right down to your place setting! We really enjoyed Erica's enthusiasm and her collection of family antiques and memorabilia - which we were happy to incorporate with the floral design.

She had a vision of floral designs that had the appearance of a "carefree" garden feel.  As her Jcrew bridesmaid dresses were a shade of orange red called "poppy", the challenge was to find complimentary colors that still looked "vintage and soft" yet worked well together.

Erica, you were a delight to work with and we wish you and Dan many blessings throughout your life together! What a fun wedding to be a part of.

Love,
K + L
