Food For Thought #2

Seeing as it’s the middle of winter, and the snow doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, I thought I’d throw out some ideas that make this cold winter not only bearable, but down-right romantic.  Some think I’m crazy, but winter has always been my favorite time of year.  Why, you ask?  The answer is simple…no other time of year is cozier.  The winter may be frigid, but its also the best time of year for lighting some candles, starting a fire in that wood-burning stove you’ve been meaning to use, and having a good ol’ fashion cuddle session!  So my question is this- why not incorporate this cozy-factor into your wedding, and make your romantic day one that you associate with warm-fuzzy feelings.  You could go for a ski lodge look, and mix in birch, wood, furs, antlers, and loads of candles.  Mixed with glittering sticks and evergreens, you could bring the winter wonderland that’s outside into your “lodge”, for a look that’s both memorable and romantic.

Cheers!
Mollie
